Welcome to our Rite of Christian Initiation program. It is for adults eighteen years and over who have the desire to receive Baptism, Eucharist, and/or Confirmation. This is also the class for those who are interested in becoming Catholic. We emphasize that the goal is integration into a loving Catholic-Christian parish family. Our program extends from the first Thursday of July through the Easter Vigil (with some followup afterwards) each year. Classes are held Thursday evenings, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. We take breaks for all major holidays, as indicated on our Master Calendar. After completion of the one- year cycle, sacraments are received at the following Easter Vigil. For those who need Confirmation only, the program is slightly adjusted. There are a number of opportunities to be confirmed both at the parish and throughout the Archdiocese during the year. Our program has four aspects: 1) Sunday Mass. Participation in the Eucharist forms the foundation of our program and all that we do here as a parish. We ask for at least 75% attendance, though our motivated adults typically make most weeks. Current members track their progress here.* 2) Thursday evening classes under the direction of our certified director. 3) “Learning,” which includes knowing the prayers and other important components of our faith.
