High School Confirmation
During the Covid restrictions we are live streaming classes, which are a bit shorter than regular classes. As for Mass, the church is open to 25% capacity, or families may opt to listen to Mass from the safety of their cars on the radio. We will keep you posted on any possible ways to participate this year.
Dear parents and young people,  St. Edwin welcomes all those who find fulfillment in belonging to a local Catholic-Christian community, look forward each Sunday to the celebration of the Eucharist, and seek to deepen their faith though regular instruction. We offer a complete high school Confirmation program with four components: 1) Thursday classes from September through May under the direction of our dedicated Confirmation team. 2) Sunday Mass, even in the summer season when we do not have classes. Participation in the Eucharist forms the foundation of our high school program and all that we do here as a parish.* 3) “Learning,” which includes knowing the prayers and other important components of our faith. 4) Participation in our parish events, especially in our two annual festivals and Advent Posada. There are other events as well, conveniently scheduled on Thursday evenings. Our high school classes are held Thursdays, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in our recently renovated conference room. We start each year around the beginning of September. You can see the various dates as well as vacations on the “Master Calendar” of this site. Refer to it often! You can register any time at the office; we look forward to seeing you! *We have found through experience that parents who do not prioritize attending the Sunday Eucharist with their young people do not do well in our program.
